Barcelona hosts the final stage of the 2026 Volta a Catalunya with a demanding circuit around Montjuïc. The city is calling on everyone to come out and cheer on the cyclists and experience this decisive and festive day live.
Barcelona is all set to host the big cycling celebration this Sunday with the final stage of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2026, a decisive race that will cross the city and culminate on Montjuïc.
Stage 7, starting and finishing in Barcelona and covering approximately 95 km, will include seven circuits of the Montjuic climb, making the mountain the key setting where the final classification will be decided.
The circuit will also pass through towns such as Viladecans and Castelldefels before returning to the city, offering numerous opportunities for the public to enjoy the spectacle live.
The organisers and the city are calling on everyone to take to the streets to cheer on the cyclists and transform Barcelona into a true cycling capital, in a stage that promises excitement right up to the last metre thanks to the demanding slopes of Montjuïc.
The Volta a Catalunya thus concludes a week of top-level cycling with an open and spectacular finale, where the atmosphere generated by spectators could be key in spurring the world’s best cyclists on in their fight for the title.
