For the first time, in 2026 Barcelona will host the Grand Départ of the Tour de France™, the world’s most prestigious cycling race. It’ll be the fourth time the Tour visits Barcelona, but the first time it officially kicks off the race. This historic event places us on the global sports map and once again shows that Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia are committed to cycling, sustainable mobility and the spirit of sport.

Experience the excitement of the Tour right on your doorstep: three stages, three cities and thousands of cheering fans in the streets. In addition to Barcelona, the Tour will also pass through Tarragona, Granollers and many other locations in Catalonia.
