The Poster

The creative vision of Barcelona takes centre stage in the visuals for the 2026 Tour

The creative, artistic vision that defines the 2026 Tour

The poster for the 2026 Tour de France™ is much more than just an image of a competition – it is a visual celebration of the bond between France and Barcelona, between design and sport, and between culture and the energy of movement.

The poster design for the next edition of the Tour is the result of an open competition promoted by Barcelona City Council and organised by the Association of Graphic Design and Visual Communication (ADG-FAD), a participatory initiative that invited graphic design and illustration professionals to reinterpret the spirit of the Tour through a creative Barcelona perspective.

The winning entry, selected from among all submissions, was that of SMLXL + Albert Tercero. Their poster conveys the city’s vitality and passion for cycling through a dynamic composition full of light, colour and contrast. The human figures in motion evoke the collective effort, collaboration and spirit of excellence that define both the Tour and Barcelona itself.

With its contemporary aesthetic and vibrant colour palette, the poster highlights the power of design as a cultural and emotional language. It is a work that speaks of the city, its people and the creative talent that makes Barcelona an international benchmark.
