Barcelona has presented the commemorative cycling jersey for the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026, a special piece linked to the official start of the event. Even though the jersey will not be used in the competition, it forms part of the official merchandise and is now available in Tour shops.

Made by Santini, the jersey is inspired by L’Eixample in Barcelona and in the grid plan conceived by Ildefons Cerdà, with its regular blocks and its junctions with chamfered corners. The design reflects this urban model in a contemporary graphic language, connecting the city and cycling.

In parallel, a giant replica of the jersey has been installed in Plaça de Sant Jaume, accessible until 6 July, with the goal of bringing this symbolic element closer to people in the run-up to the Grand Départ Barcelona 2026.
