More than 300 pupils take part in the Dictat del Tour in Barcelona
The Tour de France educational activity at the Lycée Français brings schools and cycling together in the run-up to the Grand Départ 2026
More than 300 pupils aged between 8 and 12 took part this Thursday in the Dictat del Tour at the Lycée Français de Barcelona, an educational initiative linked to the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026.
The activity combined language and sport through a dictation on the values of cycling, read by the Tour director, Christian Prudhomme, and involving pupils from the Lycée Français and the Escola Francesa Ferdinand de Lesseps.
The event was attended by Mayor Jaume Collboni and the Councillor for Sports, David Escudé, who highlighted the educational and social value of the Tour.
The 24 best pupils will be invited to experience the Grand Départ in Barcelona at first hand, in an initiative that brings this major event closer to schools and the city.
