Barcelona held a new edition of the Bike Festival and the Bike Ride on Sunday, bringing together hundreds of participants for an event devoted to sustainable mobility, the use of the bicycle and physical activity.

The Bike Ride, with a 12-kilometre route around different points in the city, was one of the most notable moments of a morning that also included workshops, road safety circuits, family activities and a bike exchange to promote reuse and the circular economy.

The event also continued to bring people closer to the Grand Départ Barcelona 2026, which is set to turn the city into the first in the Spanish state to host the start of the Tour de France.
