An Airbus A320 covered with the image of the Tour de France will travel around Europe as an ambassador of the Grand Départ Barcelona 2026.

Vueling has presented at Barcelona-El Prat airport its new airplane that commemorates the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026, which will leave from Barcelona on 4 July. The airplane, an Airbus A320, features a design inspired by cycling that showcases the yellow of the Tour, the yellow cycling jersey and the red points of the mountain.

Bernat Álvarez, David Escudé, Christian Prudhomme and Miguel Induráin attended the presentation, which even further tightens the bonds between the city and the event.

This airplane is one of the Vueling’s main initiatives as the official airline of the Grand Départ Barcelona 2026 and will display the image of the Tour around Europe, showing Barcelona as the epicentre of international cycling.
